The City
Around 60,000 “Häfler”, as the locals call themselves, live here, and some 700,000 guests flock to Messe Friedrichshafen on the lake every year. This Baden-Württemberg city is located at the point where three countries converge – Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and Liechtenstein is only a 1 ½ -hour drive away as well.

What to do after a long day of fair

Thanks to the city’s superb location, it is also easy for visitors to make an outing to Austria, Liechtenstein or Switzerland – catamaran, ferry and rail will all transport you quickly to the other side of the lake.
